Billy Thomas Harris

Billy Thomas Harris, 86, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024. He was born March 19, 1938, in Ridgeway, Virginia, to the late James William Harris and Betty Lu Harris.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Ethel Jefferson, Christine Spizer, Dorothy Harris, and Shirley Loraine Harris; and brothers, Grady Harris, and Clyde Maynard Harris.Billy attended Church of God of Prophecy in Eden, North Carolina. He was a dedicated employee of J&J Box Plant for more than 25 years. In his free time, he enjoyed watching westerns and war movies, going on nice walks, keeping up with his yard, and cleaning his car.He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Harris; sons, Ronnie Thomas Harris (Teresa), and Roger Wayne Harris (Mary Jane); sisters, Sadie Duncan, and Carolyn Adkins; brother, Fred Lance Harris; grandchild, Kevin Harris (Kendall); and great grandchild, Ryleigh Faith Harris.The funeral will be Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
