Billy Wilbrun

Billy Wilburn, 62, passed away on September 29, 2026. He was born on February 16, 1964, to Patricia Parker and John Wilburn.

Billy enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and spending time outdoors. For his family, some of the most meaningful memories are not grand occasions, but the simple moments with him that became more precious with time.

Billy is survived by his children, Michael Wilburn (Kimberly), Brooke Wilburn, and Matthew Wilburn (Ana Martha), and their mother, Karen Wilburn. He is also survived by his brother, Bobby Wilburn (Debbie); sisters, Mischelle Zumstein (Everett) and Patty Chapman; brother-in-law, Terry Smith; uncle, Vaughn Wilburn (Anne); and granddaughter, Adalyne, who knew him as Pawpaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Patricia Parker and John Wilburn, and his sister, Candace Smith.

In his final days, Billy was surrounded and comforted by his children and family, whose presence brought him peace and love.

Family and friends are invited to visitation on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road, Daleville, Virginia 24083.

A graveside service and burial will take place on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Walnut Ridge Cemetery, 2421 Hamburg Pike, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made to Good Samaritan Hospice in Billy’s memory.
