Bobby Dean Pillow

Bobby Dean Pillow, 91, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas “Opie” and Carrie Pillow; brothers, Corbett Pillow and Marshall Pillow; and sisters, Ala Pillow, Lucille Tuck, Thelma Lee Martin, and Betty Woods (his twin).

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Elsie Pillow; daughters, Pamela Pillow and Michelle Marshall (Darryl); and grandson, Brandon Marshall; and many nieces and nephews.

Bobby was a loving husband and father he was such a kind and loving person to all he met. He retired from General Electric after 40 years where he had many friends. He will be greatly missed.

The family will have a Visitation on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 from 11:30am – 1:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home (Peters Creek). A Chapel Service (also at the funeral home) will follow at 1:00pm and then process to Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. His nephews, Dan Woods and Gary Pillow, will be officiating.
