Bobby Lee Clark

Bobby Lee Clark, 79, of Bassett, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at his home. He was born on February 20, 1943, in Bassett to the late Benny Clark and the late Hattie Fain Clark. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his loving wife, Connie Christine Clark; brothers and sister-in-law, Leon Clark (Elaine) and Curtis Clark; brothers-in-law, Thomas Ayers, and Jimmy Grindstaff.

Bobby is survived by his daughter, Mary Handy (Wofford) of Bassett; 3 grandchildren, Rosanna Handy (Doug) of Axton, Christopher Handy of Bassett, and Samantha Hancock (Eddie) of Patrick Springs; 5 great-granddaughters, Adyson Handy, Morgan Handy, Gabriella Handy, Chloe Hancock and Natalie Hancock; sisters, Louise Ayers and Charlotte Grindstaff; siter-in-law, Marie Clark; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Bishop Dwayne Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Burial Park in Martinsville.
