Bobby Turner Haskins

Bobby Turner Haskins, 79, of Spencer, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. He was born on June 8, 1946, to the late Russell Turner Haskins and Nora Elsie Grubbs Haskins. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Frances, Linda, Lois, Shirley, Wayne, Jimmy and Larry.

Mr. Haskins is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Wanda Louise Dickerson Haskins; his sons, Brett Haskins and Richard Haskins; his cherished grandchildren, Hunter, Garrett, and Kara Haskins; and his sisters, Carol, Alice, Deborah, and Brenda.

Bobby faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force and always held a special place in his heart for the time he spent stationed in Germany. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who found true joy in the outdoors, appreciating life’s simple pleasures. Whether casting a line, walking through the woods, or simply relaxing, he cherished those moments most—especially when shared with Scooter, his loyal four-legged companion.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services in Martinsville, Virginia, with Pastor David Deisher officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
