Bonnie Diane Minter

Bonnie Diane Minter, 68, of Axton, Va. passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026. She was born in Henry County, February 8, 1958, to Glenwood Thomas Minter and Nannie Ola Wilson Minter.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her fiancé, Kenny G. Willis, Jr., many years ago; brothers, Glen Thomas Minter, Jr., Steve Edward Minter, Danny Ray Minter, Joe Pedro Minter and Kenneth Wade Minter.

She is survived by her brother, Ben C. Minter (Wanda), sister Donna Mason (Thomas), numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Bonnie retired from SOVAH Health of Martinsville after 45 years of employment as a dietician and dietary supervisor. She loved cooking, working in her flowers, gardening and collecting dolls.

She was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 10:50 am on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at McKee-Stone Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am and will be officiated by Reverend Gary Shupe. Interment will follow in the Wilson-Minter Family Cemetery in Axton.

The family will also receive friends at the home of Bonnie.

Pallbearers will be Shannon Minter, Chris Minter, Rylan Scott, Brayden Scott, Jamie Scott, Bradley Minter, Logan Mason, and Dakota Helms.
