Brenda Delaine Wyatt

Mrs. Brenda DeLaine Wyatt, 79 of Cana, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday May 18, 2026. She was born on February 9, 1947, in Logan Co. WV, to the late Bernard and Anna Yeager Wyatt. Mrs. Wyatt retired from the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Department. Brenda is survived by her husband, Clyde Harper Neal; children, Jonna Locklear and her fiancé Chris Shelley and Devon and Shannon Rose; grandchildren, Logan and Haylie Locklear, Austin and Harmony Rose, Zachary Rose, and Sarah Skelly; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Tam Wyatt; three brothers, Dane Wyatt, Brett and Rhonda Wyatt, and Eric and Angela Wyatt; and several other family and friends. Per Mrs. Wyatt’s wishes there will not be any services at this time. Memorial donations may be given to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, PO Box 325, Dobson, NC 27017. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
