Brett Wayne Kidd, 63, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024. He was born July 18, 1960, in Rocky Mount, Virginia to the late James Milton Kidd and Ersie Isley Kidd.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Richards; and brothers, Bobby Ray Kidd and Herbert Douglas Kidd.Brett was a member of Trinity Friends Church and was the owner of a lawn care business. He really enjoyed mowing lawns, being outdoors, and crossword puzzles. He was known to tell jokes and loved having fun and making people laugh. His family and friends were very special to him.He is survived by his wife Debra Jane Gee Kidd; sister, Kay Hammock; special niece, Lisa Kay Weatherly (Scott); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Trinity Friends Church with Pastor Ron Hill officiating.
