Carl Frederick Bousman

Carl Fredrick Bousman Sr., 84 of Penhook, VA joined his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Preceding him in death were his parents, Hanel and Nina Bousman; his son Freddy; his brother, Billy and wife Shelba Bousman. Surviving are his loving wife of 63 years, Marie Meeks Bousman; daughters, Susan Sanders and husband David, Carla DeVivi and husband Caine; grandchildren, Dwayne Bousman and his wife Angel, Hunter Sanders, Bryson Fields and wife Sydney, Coleman Fields, Kayley DeVivi and Cade DeVivi; great-grandchildren, Annabeth and Adalyn Bousman. Carl spent most of his life in Penhook VA doing what he loved, farming his land. He enjoyed raising tobacco, antiquing, traveling, gardening, but the thing he loved most was his family as evidenced by every aspect of his life. He will be truly missed and his memory cherished always and forever. Funeral services will be held at Forrest Hill Christian Church in Penhook, VA at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2023 with Minister Wayne Keith officiating. His family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the funeral service starting at 1:30 p.m. The family requests memorial donations to be made to Forrest Hill Christian Church or Snow Creek Rescue Squad. Interment will follow at the Bousman Family Cemetery (13560 Snow Creek Road, Penhook, VA 24137). Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
