Carolyn Brown
Carolyn Sue “Bunny” Brown, 79, passed away on June 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on November 19, 1946 to the late Frank McCoy Rorrer and Audrey Gaye Fain Rorrer.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister, Stella Lou Rorrer; her niece, Tami Angel Kellerhalls; her aunts, Stella Massey and Virginia Scarce; and her uncles, James Fain, William Fain, and Clayton Fain.
Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 43 years, Larry D. Brown; her daughter, Terry Lynn Martin; her son, Richard Thomas Martin; her stepson, Larry Wayne Brown; four grandchildren, Andrew, Danielle, Kevin, and Madison; eight great-grandchildren; her sisters, Patsy Martin, Shelby Turner, and Pam Ziglar; her brother, Frank Rorrer Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Carolyn attended New Life Community Church and Oak Level Baptist Church. She was a gifted artist whose talent brought beauty and joy to many. She painted numerous portraits and landscapes, including the beloved Mabry Mill, and was honored with a Blue Ribbon from Piedmont Arts for her work. In addition to her artistic abilities, Carolyn was known as an excellent cook whose meals brought family and friends together.
Above all, Carolyn was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her kindness, creativity, faith, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she loved so dearly.
