Carolyn Jean Newcomb Hayslett

Carolyn Jean Newcomb Hayslett, 81, of Buchanan, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, William Kermit and Beulah Downs Newcomb, son, William H. Hayslett, Jr.; brothers, Buddy and Tommy Newcomb; and sister, Ann Newcomb Hensley. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, William Harris Hayslett; daughter and son-in-law, Debora H. and Earl Hawk, Inman, SC; grandsons, Randy Williams, Jr. and Michael Edward Hayslett. A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 pm on Saturday, August 17, 2024 in the Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan followed by her funeral service at 2 pm conducted by Pastor Justin Thomas.
