Carson "Pete" Everette Hickman

Carson “Pete” Everette Hickman, 83, of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Hickman; parents, John and Mary Hickman; sisters, Vara Dudley, Nadine Painter, and Nancy Hickman; and brother, Leonard Hickman.

Pete is survived by his sisters, Joyce Dudley, Christine Mae Grishaw, and Jane Evelyn Powell; best friend, Bobby Dudley; good friends and caretakers, Brenda St. Clair, Debbie Ayers, and Franklin Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 1pm Friday, June 14, 2024 in Rapps Mill Cemetery officiated by Pastor Scott. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday, June 13, 2024 in Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan. Online condolences may be made at www.botetourtfuneralhome.com or 540-254-3000.
