Catherine Grace Reed Stinson

Catherine Grace Reed Stinson, 87, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Mulberry Creek Nursing Home. She was born August 21, 1935, in Michigan Town, Indiana to the late Raymond Reed and Bessie Painter Reed. She was of the Baptist faith and had worked at Walmart. Catherine enjoyed making jewelry, sewing and making floral arrangements. She loved cats, dogs and the mountains.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond Reed, Jr., Richard Reed, Donald Reed and Bennie Joe Reed.

She is survived by a daughter, Pennie King (Art); sisters, Betty Kingery and Nancy Clark; brother,
Robert Reed; grandchildren, Dustin Knight, Arthur King, IV, and Stephanie Lawson (Brad); great-grandchildren, Cooper Lawson and Conner Lawson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
