Charles Curtis Pierce

Charles Curtis Pierce, 72, of Ringgold, Virginia passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, at SOVAH Health, Danville, Virginia.

Charles was born October 22, 1953, in Pittsylvania County, Virginia to the late Curtis Claude Pierce and the late Lizzie Vaughn Pierce. He was married to Judy Willhite Pierce, who survives of the residence.

Charles was of the Baptist faith and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

Known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and willingness to help others, he earned the respect and admiration of everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his generous spirit, and the lasting impact he made on those around him.

Charles is survived by his wife, as well as his sons, Curtis Michael Pierce (Laurie) and David Alan Pierce (Candace); grandchildren, Thomas Curtis, Carolyn, and William; and brothers, Johnnie and Max Pierce.

A graveside service honoring Charles and his life will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Burial Park in Chatham, VA with Pastor Shevi Sloane officiating.

At other times, the family will receive friends and family at Mrs. Judy Pierce’s residence on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 2-8 p.m.
