Charles "Randy" Randall Strickland

Charles “Randy” Strickland, 82, of Glade Hill, Virginia, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024. He was born August 10, 1941, in Bainbridge Georgia, to the late Charles Russell Strickland and Pearl Priest Strickland.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Read.

Charles was a dedicated employee of Embarq for more than thirty years where he worked as a Service Technician. He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and was a graduate of Bainbridge High School.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy McMillan Strickland; daughters, Samantha Strickland McGuire (Jonathan), Josephine Furrow (Shannon); sons, Bradley Read, Blake Neal (Alisha); ten grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, January 14, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Franklin County, with Pastor Phillip Woods and Blake Neal officiating.
