Charles Richard Koontz, 80, of Roanoke passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
Surviving is his wife of 44 years, Patricia Ann Koontz; children, Robin Dillon (David), Jerry “Tim” Sprouse, Tammy Newcomb (Steve), and Angeline Fain; grandchildren, Jared Taylor, Dean Taylor, Kelsey Edinborough (Kevin), Lauren Newcomb, Kaitlyn Dillon, and Abby Dillon; great grandchildren, Brooklyn Taylor and Grayson Taylor; brothers, Henry Koontz, Randy Lewis, and Melvin Lewis (Gail).
A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2024 in Mountain View Cemetery Vinton by Dr. Chris Monroe. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the graveside. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. 540 366 0707
