Chris Pardalis
Chris Pardalis, 84, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. He was born on December 5, 1941, in Greece to the late John Pardalis and the late Evdokia Pardalis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Aikaterini Katsavini Pardalis.
Chris proudly served in the United States Army as a Green Beret. Chris was a hardworking and dedicated man who spent many years working at Captain Tom’s and Subs & More, later operating his own establishment and sharing his talents as a skilled cook.
He was never one to sit idle and always found something to do. He enjoyed walking and staying active, but some of his most peaceful moments were spent sitting on the front porch of his home, soaking up the warmth of the sun. For more than 27 years, that porch was a familiar place of comfort and relaxation for him.
He is survived by daughter, Evdokia Pardalis and her husband, Gabriel; and his brother, Tony Pardalis. His second family, Cecilia Aguirre, Eddie and her family, his granddaughter Crystal and Derek, and their two sons Carter and Austin, which he loved dearly. In all his years in Henry County he made a lot of friends that became his family here away from his country in Greece. He will be very missed.
Although services will be private, the family wishes to express their gratitude for the love and care shown during this time of grief.
Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family. Online condolences may be made at www.wrightfuneralservices.net.
