Christine Callaghan

Christine Robinson Callaghan, age 96, of 4910 Midland Trail, Covington, Virginia died Thursday, September 14, 2023 at the Brian Center Nursing Care in Low Moor, Virginia.
Christine was born April 17, 1927 in Ellaville, Georgia to the late William Clarence Robinson and Eva Irene Devane Robinson. She was a homemaker throughout her life and loved reading and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred W. Callaghan; two sisters, Mary Mask and Josie Bankston; and a brother, William C. Robinson, Jr.
She is survived by a son, Thomas A. Callaghan and wife Cela of Yorktown; a grandson, Adam Callaghan and wife Jennifer of Salem; two great grandchildren, Emily and Aubree; a sister, Mozelle Dean of LaFayette, AL; a sister-in-law, Marie Robinson of Newport News; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 3:00 PM in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Covington with Reverend Bill Gilliland officiating. Interment will immediately follow. There will be no formal visitation.
