Christine Caudill Frazier

Christine Caudill Frazier, 82, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. She was born on February 12, 1943, in McDowell County, West Virginia, to the late Sherman Caudill and Sythie Jane Shelton Caudill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Frances Hunt, Shelva Jean Caudill, and Velvia Nester; and five brothers, Ken Billy Caudill, Carl Thomas Caudill, Franklin Caudill, Donald Caudill, and Sherman Caudill Jr.

Christine dedicated over 55 years of service to Bassett Furniture before retiring, working as a supervisor at Bassett Chair Company, Bassett Table Company, and Plant 11. A devoted member of Northside Baptist Church, she found joy in photography, capturing family moments and scenic landscapes. She cherished time spent with loved ones and had a deep appreciation for music.

She is survived by her daughter, Delores Stacy; her son, Steven Frazier (Donna); four grandsons, Randal Stacy Jr. (Lucye), Darrel Stacy (Briana), Joey Frazier, and Justin Frazier (Andrea); eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a special loving friend; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Dr. Brandon Dupont. Interment will follow at Frazier Family Cemetery.
