Christine Louise Martin

Christine Louise Martin, 90, of Blairs passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born on Wednesday, April 11, 1934 to the late Sandy James Martin & Okie Gaster Martin. Christine was also preceded in death by her husband, James Evyne Martin; sons, Larry & Jerry Martin; granddaughters, Lisa & Crystal; daughter-in-law, Linda Martin.

Christine loved to sing, especially the gospel singing in church.

She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Cooper (Paul), Wanda Keen (Leonard), Vickie Bowen (Stanley); sons, Roger Martin & Danny Martin (Pam); grandchildren, Janice, Stephen, Jessica, Jason, Brian, Jaime, Trevor, Shane, Chris, Amy, Wayne, Richard, Donny, Carrie, Bud, Kathryn, Travis & James; numerous great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Lou Owen; many nieces & nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Huddleston with Rev. Wayne Murphy & Rev. Becky Moss officiating. Interment will follow in Huddleston Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Updike Funeral Home, Huddleston.
