Christine Spencer Minter

Christine Louise Spencer Minter, 61, of Danville, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on May 4, 2026, at Lewis Gale Medical Center, after health challenges over the past several years. She was born on December 26, 1964.

She is survived by her son, Jeremy Massey of Bassett; her daughter, Whitney Harrell (Winston) of Danville; her grandchildren, Caroline and Joanna Harrell; her mother, Flossie Spencer; her sisters, Angela Spencer and Cheryl Spencer; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her two very special dogs, Izabella and Mowgli, who were her life.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Spencer, and her brother, Brian Spencer.

Christine most recently worked as a dog groomer and had a deep love for animals.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Martinsville-Henry County SPCA.
