Christopher Allen Ross

On Thursday, February 6, 2025, Christopher “Chris” Ross, went to be with his Heavenly Father at the age of 47. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Bobby” Ross; brother, Tony Ross; grandfather, Robert E. Ross; and grandmothers, Lois H. Ross and Ruth E. Fizer.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Haley Ross; partner, Johnny Jones; former spouse, Tina Ross; mother, Donna Ross (Steve); grandfather, John L. Ratcliff (Jackie); uncles, Kelly Ross, Jamie Ross, and Scott Ross (Beverly); aunt, Elaine Ratcliff (Aaron); and many other loving relatives and friends.

Chris was loved by many for his charming personality, his mischievous smile, and his witty sense of humor. He was kind, genuine and always helped anyone in need. He adored his many pets both past and present; Aiden, Nikki, and Piper. His hobbies included antique shopping, kayaking, and hiking. He enjoyed vacationing at the beach and taking cruises and having fun with his friends. He was an active member of the Elk’s Lodge, where he made many great friendships and lasting memories.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and will always be remembered with a smile.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Chapel Service on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 3:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Rd. Roanoke, VA 24019, officiated by Pastor Troy Mays. A Visitation/Receiving of Friends will take place one hour prior from 2:00pm – 3:00pm.
