Christopher Carlin Simms

Christopher Carlin Simms, 58, passed away on March 27, 2025.

He was born on May 11, 1966 to Frank Carney Simms and Sue “Suzie” Ann Simms, both deceased. He was of the Methodist faith. Christopher was an avid hunter and a musician.

He was a devoted father and those left to cherish his memory are his son, Christopher Simms, II and wife Asia; daughter, Nancy “Nan” Simms; his grandson, Isaac Simms; three brothers, David Simms, Kevin Simms and wife Christina, and Frank C. Simms, II; nephews, Philip Simms and Billy Simms; and nieces, Michelle Graham, Amber Simms, Arisa Watanabe; and sister in law, Mariko Watanabe.

The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 12:00 until 1:00 pm. A celebration of life service will follow in the chapel of Lotz Funeral Home at 1:00 pm. Interment will be held in Sherwood Memorial Park.
