Christopher Wayne Divers, 54, of Roanoke, passed away on March 11, 2026.

Christopher enjoyed the simple things in life that brought him the greatest happiness. He loved hunting and fishing, sharing laughs and a cold beer with friends, and working with his hands as a carpenter. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family and creating lasting memories with those he loved.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Christopher is survived by his loving mother, Irene Divers (Mason); his children, Christopher Michael Divers, Sierra Mae Divers, and Michelle Nicole Baublitz; his brother, Joseph Dennis Wampler; and his beloved grandchildren, Paisley Mae Bryant, Christiana Alaigha Divers, Oaklynn Reign Divers, and Adalyn Rose Divers.

The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Vinton on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of Christopher’s friends who stood by him throughout his life—those who spent time fishing and hunting with him, shared laughter and stories, and were always there when he needed companionship or support. Your friendship meant the world to him, and your presence in his life will never be forgotten. We are deeply grateful for each of you.

The family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all friends and loved ones for the prayers, kind words, acts of kindness, and support shown during this difficult time. Your love and compassion have brought comfort and strength, and we are sincerely thankful.
