Clarice Earles Buse Heule

Clarice Earles Buse Heule, 87, of Chatham, VA passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Commonwealth Senior Living-Strafford House. She was born on March 12, 1939 in Chatham, VA to the late Docie Bye Bolling Earles and Guy Lindsey Earles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Guenter Konrad Buse; second husband, Stuart Arthur Heule; her siblings, Edgar L. Earles, Guy A. Earles, Elizabeth Taylor; and son-in-law, Joseph Crispen.

Ms. Heule cherished her family deeply, including her three daughters and grandchildren. She had a special love for her many dogs & pets over the years, especially her most recent companion, K.C. She also enjoyed watching movies, reading, spending time outdoors, traveling and caring about nature.

She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Anne Crispen, Charity Marie Arango (Carlos), and Melody Lee Turtle (Jason); grandchildren, Caroline Smith, Cole Crispen, Conor Arango, Lenore Arango, Isabelle Arango, Forest Turtle and Renee Turtle; great-grandchildren, Rhett George Smith and Beau Fielder Smith.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
