Claudette Brooks
Claudette Brooks, 82 of Lynchburg, a devoted mother, loving grandmother, loyal friend, and faithful child of God, passed away peacefully surrounded by family.
A longtime member of Hyland Heights Baptist Church, Claudette lived with grace, compassion, and unwavering faith. She was the beloved mother of Karen Tweedy, Sharon Baldwin (Tommy), and Ray Trent (Julie), and the proud grandmother of four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her love, wisdom, and generous spirit touched all who knew her.
Claudette’s life was filled with kindness, faith, and family. She shared a cherished lifelong friendship with her best friend, Peggy Lee, and her presence brought comfort and joy to countless others.
Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love and faith will continue to live on through her family and all who were blessed to know her.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 11:00 am at Hyland Heights Baptist Church with Pastor Carl Weiser officiating. Please use entrance 1 and 2 at the church. Burial to follow the service at Spring Hill Cemetery.
