Clemente Mendez-Rico

Clemente Mendez-Rico, 48, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Clemente was born in Ciudad, Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico on June 12, 1976 to Mrs. Gertrudis Rico Fortuna and Mr. Felix Mendez Meza. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Mrs. Angie Collins Mendez.

Clemente was of the Christian Faith, and a loving family man, that cared deeply for his entire family. He worked for many years in the Construction business as a foreman for Conti Construction.

In addition to his wife, Clemente is survived by two daughters; Selina Mendez and Katia M. Mendez De Carvajal; three sons; Ethan Mendez, Antonio Mendez, and Ulises Mendez; a step daughter; Jessica Revis; a step-son; Allen Revis; four sisters; Zeferina, Leti, Lupita, and Maria Delores “Lolo”; three brothers; Jose, Felix, and Joob Mendez; and six grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Clemente was predeceased by a brother; Diego Mendez and a half brother; Moises Mendez-Torres.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 1:00pm, at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA, with Minister Hershel Stone officiating. Interment will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens, 511 Church Ave, Danville, VA. A Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service, the night before, on Friday November 29, 2024 from 7-8:30 pm also at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA. At other times, the family will receive friends at 1501 Blair Loop Road Danville, VA, the residence of his stepson, Mr. Allen Revis.
