Clyde Randolph Austin

Clyde Randolph Austin, Sr. 96 of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 1, 2024. He was preceded by his parents, Walter and Bertha Richards Austin; wife, Margaret Lorraine Allie Austin; son, Clyde Randolph Austin, Jr.; daughter, Marjorie Ellen Austin Whitt; brothers, Earl and Warren Austin; and sisters, Ruby Manring, Alice Gabel, and Virginia Altice.

Mr. Austin retired from Monarch Foods and was a member of Hope Bible Church.

Surviving are his sons, Darrel Wayne Austin, Michael Duane Austin (Karen); grandsons, Joshua Ryan Austin, Scott Randolph Austin, and Jason Nathaniel Austin; daughter-in-law, Janet Austin; son-in-law, Larry Whitt and; and sister Juanita Lovel.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Hope Bible Church.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2024 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 until 5 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Simpson Funeral Home.
