Columbus Frank Hollingsworth, Jr.

Columbus Frank Hollingsworth Jr., 64, passed away on May 19, 2023. Mr. Hollingsworth was born in Hendersonville, NC on April 12, 1959, to the late Bertha Anderson Hollingsworth and the late Columbus Frank Hollingsworth Sr.

Mr. Hollingsworth worked as a cook in the restaurant industry for many years before his retirement.

Columbus is survived by three sisters; Katherine Williams (Bill) of Alberdeen, MD, Vivian Slater (Bob) of Jacksonville, FL, and Penny Mitchell of Dry Fork, VA. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, and his special cat “Smokey”.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hollingsworth was predeceased by three sisters; Kay Sizemore, Rosa Knapp, and Frankie June.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
