Connie Mcdaries Keys

Ms. Connie McDaries Keys, age 75, formerly of Martinsville, Va. passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025, at Oak View Health and Rehab, Conway, S.C.

Ms. Keys was born on November 13, 1949, in Alamance County, N.C. to the late Clarence Edwin McDaries and the late Marguerite Haynes Thompson. She was of the Baptist faith and was a professional hairdresser for many years operating Keys Beauty Salon.

Ms. Keys is survived by two daughters, Toni Frazier (Donnie) and Melanie Keys; two sons, Ray Keys, Jr. and Chris Keys (Tiffany); seven grandchildren, Matthew Martin, Ashlie Martin, Brandon Bartholomew (Becca), Joshua Barker, Justis Keys, Katie Keys and Haley Keys; five great grandchildren, Ryland Lynch, Grayson Bartholomew, Parker Bartholomew, Ruby Barker and Lealani Jamison.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at McKee-Stone Funeral Home, 109 Broad Street, Martinsville, Va., with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
