Coy Noah Davis

Coy Noah Davis, age 91 of Danville, Virginia, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026, at his residence. Mr. Davis was born April 1, 1935, to the late Penny Cates Davis and the late John Davis. He was married to the late Mary Wyatt Davis.

Mr. Davis was a supervisor at Dan River Mills before his retirement and proudly served our country in the US Army reserves. He loved to fish, car racing, and enjoyed time with his friends at American Legion Post 1097. He also enjoyed spending time at Smith Mountain Lake and he loved to garden.

He is survived by his daughter, Donna Jean Davis (Donald Duane); his son, Coy Davis, Jr. (Caroline); and his grandson, William McMann.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his daughter, Teresa Davis McMann.

A funeral service will be held Friday, April 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Service, West End Chapel. Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. At other times the family will receive friends and family at the residence.
