Cynthia Allen Hodgson

Cynthia Allen Hodgson, 61, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Cynthia was born on November 12, 1962 in Danville, VA to the late Margaret Ann Gregory Allen and the late Julian Carlton Allen. She is survived by her loving husband of many years, Mr. Daniel Corey Hodgson.

Cynthia was of the Christian Faith, and worked for many years as a Beautician. She loved her family trips, watching her birds and drinking her coffee. She also loved shopping at GW Boutique and going to Sarahs in NC for quality time and Ballroom dance events. She especially loved her croc shoes.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters; Sarah Hobgood of Cedar Grove, NC and Danielle Hodgson (Kris) of Reidsville, NC; two sons; Kenny Hodgson of Danville, VA and James Hodgson (Kelsey) of Eden, NC; five grandchildren; Waylon, Beau, Timber, Holley, and Sawier; and her special dog, Lady Bug.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 12:00pm, at New Life Community Church, 3837 U.S. Hwy 29, Bus., Danville, VA 24540 with Pastor Jim Reed officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service on the same day from 11:00am to 12:00noon also at New Life Community Church, Danville, VA.
