Cynthia "Cindy" Dodson Kimball

Cynthia “Cindy” Dodson Kimball, 71, of Danville, VA, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2025. Cindy was born in Danville, VA on February 22, 1953 to the late Harriett Dodson Scearce. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Mr. James Arthur Kimball.

Cindy was of the Baptist faith, and was a faithful member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. She worked for many years as a CNA at Emeritus Senior Living, previous to her retirement.

In addition to her Mother, Cindy was predeceased by a sister, Mrs. Barbara Oakes.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 7174 Mountain Valley Road, Axton, VA 24054.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 1:00pm at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 7174 Mountain Valley Road, Axton VA 24054 with Pastor George Agnew officiating. A visitation will be held on the same day prior to the Funeral from 12:00-1:00pm also at the church. Interment will follow the funeral at the church cemetery.
