Dakota McGregor Hawker, 29, passed away on June 25, 2024. He was born on November 29, 1994 in Chapel Hill, NC to Mr. Stuart Grayson Hawker and Ms. Robin Lynn McGregor.

In addition to his parents, Dakota is survived by his fiancé; Elizabeth Baker of the residence; a daughter; Charley Hawker of the residence; two aunts; Barbara Motley and Janet Myers; a uncle; Gary McGregor; numerous cousins and special friends; best friend; Jessie Thurman; and family friend; Marsha Bennett.

Dakota was predeceased by a aunt; Sandra Dean McGregor; and his grandparents; James H. Hawker Jr. and Louise Owen Hawker.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 2:00pm at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, 3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540.
