Dale Eldon Sarver
Dale Eldon Sarver went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 28, 2024. Born on August 1, 1941 in Barberton, Ohio he was a son of the late Edgar and Hattie Sarver.
In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by his mother, Ida; son, Darel; brother, Robert Sarver; and daughter-in-law, Stephanie.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Sarver; children, Dale (Nina), Mark (Arlene), Bryan (Michelle); Melanie (Rick), Theresa (Gene), Leo, and Tammy; grandchildren, Adrien, Amber, Ashley, Bradly, Caleb, Chad, Cody, Emily, Gene Jr, Jacob, Jennifer, Jeremy, Jessica, Leo Tyler, Manda, Mark Jr, Mathew, Mathaniel, Noah, and Tiffany; 21 great-grandchildren; and sister, Marvel Lieving.
As a young man, Dale served our country valiantly and proudly in the US Army. Professionally Dale returned and worked proudly as a Machinist Supervisor for National Electric Coil, working on steam turbans for powerhouses, generators, and hydro-electric motors for dams. Dale enjoyed the art of being an angler spending countless hours by the water, indulging in the tranquility of fishing. These quiet moments in nature provided him with a sense of solace and connection to the world. He also enjoyed the time he could imagine himself a cowboy, watching westerns.
A Graveside Service will be conducted on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Clover Hollow Cemetery where Military Honors will be presented by the US Army, and American Legion Posts 68, 311, and 415.
