Dale Michael Lipscomb

Dale Michael Lipscomb, 80, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026, surrounded by his family. Dale was born in Danville, VA on July 23, 1945 to the late Hannah Mildred Gwynn Lipscomb and the late Sylvene Lipscomb. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Mrs. Patricia Jones Lipscomb.

Dale was of the Christian Faith and a active member of River Zion Baptist Church. He worked for many years as a truck driver for Flemings Trucking Company, prior to his retirement.

In addition to his wife, Dale is survived by a son; Dale Lipscomb of Upper Marlboro, MD; two daughters; Sandra Slade of Mebane, NC and Tyron Lipscomb of Upper Marlboro, MD; three brothers; Carl Lipscomb, Keith Lipscomb, and Vincent Lipscomb; a sister; Sheila Lipscomb; 4 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Dale was predeceased by 1 grandchild.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 1:00pm at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA.
