Dallas Ray Adcock
Dallas Ray Adcock, 78, a proud member of the Monacan Indian Nation, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at his home in Monroe, Virginia.
Born June 3, 1946, in Virginia, he was the son of the late Robert Lee and Molly (Johns) Adcock.
He is survived by life partner Michele, children Linwood, Wayne, Becky, Dallas Jr., Brian, TJ and Shane. He is also survived by brothers and sisters Jack, Myrtle, Lorraine, Susan, Cindy, Jimmy, Ronnie, Dale, and Tiger, numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dallas is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bob and Donnie and sister Minnie.
Dallas enjoyed life and made others laugh. He loved to sit on his porch and watch the wildlife, dance to bluegrass music, play cards, fishing and spend time with his family playing Wii. Dallas was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and watched wrestling and westerns as often as he could.
A special thanks to his caregivers Joann and Angie for helping care for Dallas in his final days. Also, a special thanks to Centra Hospice for their kind and loving care to Dallas. A special thank you to all others involved in Dallas' care and well-being.
Funeral Services will be held at Whitten Monelison Chapel in Madison Heights Virginia on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 12 pm. A two-hour prior visitation will be held before the service starting at 10 am. Interment will be at the St. Pauls Cemetery on Father Judge Road in Monroe Virginia.
