Danny Colmer Corn

Danny Colmer Corn, age 64 passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at SOVAH Health Care in Danville, VA. Mr. Corn was born October 3, 1958 to the late Lois Anne McCall Corn and the late Bobby Rufus Corn.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Lewis Corn of the residence; his brother, Bobby Richard Corn and his wife Jeana of Raleigh, NC; his sister, Pam Corn Gore and her husband John of Indian Trail, NC; his stepmother, Linda H. Corn of Roanoke, VA; his nephews, Jason Corn and Mason Gore; his niece, Jessica Corn; a very special niece, Lisa Dallas Pillow; great niece, Jessica Pillow; great nephew, James Pillow; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Mr. Corn worked at Star City Bumper in Roanoke, VA, he then went to work at All State Insurance Company, then became an escort driver for Johnson Manufacturing Company until his health faded, and he retired on disability. He was a graduate of Manchester High School, enjoyed deer hunting, fox hounds, and was an avid NASCAR fan. On June 24, 1982, he married the love of his life, Linda, and they were married for 41 years. He will always be remembered as a kindhearted and loving husband, brother, and friend to all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Spring Garden Community Church with Pastor Clark Crowder officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.

At other times the family will be receiving friends and family at the residence.
