Danny Lee Jordan

Danny Lee Jordan, 66, of Axton, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at his residence. He was born on November 13, 1957, to the late George Leland Jordan, Jr., and Dorothy Moore Martin in Martinsville, Virginia. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donny Ray Jordan; a sister, Debbie Gay Jordan; one grandchild, Cameron Jefferson; a nephew, Mike Abbott, Jr.; and a niece, Cassandra Faith Barbour.

Danny was a member of the New Life Chapel. He was a professional painter and enjoyed painting. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars, and fixing anything that needed repairing. He enjoyed taking care of his lawn. He enjoyed spending time with his dog, King. He cherished his mother and loved her greatly, and he loved his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his stepfather, Ricky Martin; one son, Christopher Lee Jordan; one daughter, Ashley Nicole Jefferson (Brandon); five grandchildren, Skylar Nicole Jordan, Summer Nicole Jordan, Avery Lee Jordan, Easton Levi Jordan, and Abigail Jefferson; one sister, Lisa Jordan Eskew; one fur child, King; best friend Kirk Athey; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 1:50 p.m. at the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel, with Pastor Rob Haley officiating. The burial will follow immediately after the service at Roselawn Burial Park.
