Danny Walter Davis

Danny Walter Davis, 68, of Glade Hill, Virginia, passed away on September 21, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas Davis and Peggy Davis. Danny is survived by his son, Jamie (Nikki) Perdue, daughter, Dana (Jayson) Davis, brothers, David (Linda) Davis and Ricky (Janet) Davis, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a nephew, niece, numerous cousins, extended family, and many friends. Danny worked in construction and was always willing to help his family and friends. He loved hunting, ice cream, and moonshine. He was stubborn, honest, and never afraid to tell it like it was. His one-of-a-kind personality and generous heart touched many lives. Danny was loved by everyone and will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the family or funeral home to help with funeral expenses during this difficult time. His family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home & Crematory, 62 VA Market Place Drive, Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151
