David Lee Taylor Jr., age 44, of Collinsville, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. David Lee Taylor, Jr. age 43 of Collinsville, VA passed away March 7th, 2023.Mr. Taylor was born on December 17th, 1979 in Roanoke, Virginia to the late David Lee Taylor, Sr. and Sally Marie Warnick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Melissa Renee Taylor and sister Stephanie Coleman. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his best friend and son Braxton Taylor, his sister Shanna Law (Chase), brothers Travis Warnick, Willie Warnick (LeAnne), Derek Taylor (Elizabeth) and Jason Warnick (Danielle), his stepfather “Dad” Chuck Warnick, mother and father-in-law Steve and Wendy Pruitt as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and in-laws. David was a devoted father and husband to his late wife Melissa. They were married for 18 years before her passing last year. The family finds comfort in knowing they are reunited. David was known for his dedication to family, his selflessness, and his hard work. He was an avid sports fan always supporting the Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Braves. David loved music and attending concerts. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 pm.
