David "Roy" Allen Rogers

David “Roy” Allen Rogers, 60, of Roanoke went to be with the lord on Thursday, March 30, 2023. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Margaret Rogers, brothers, Jimmy Rogers and Vincent Rogers both of Roanoke; and step daughter, Amber Nicole Woody.

Roy is survived by his loving wife, Lucy Mills Rogers; two step sons, Daniel Duff of Roanoke and Wendell Mills (Katie) of Millersburg, OH; step daughter, Rebecha Mills (James Brisco) and granddaughter Pypar Brisco of Roanoke; son-in-law, Denver Woody; grandchildren, Cloe, Makayla, Ariana, Mason, Zakary, and Nevaeh all of Marlington, WV.

David had many lifelong friends and co-workers of his 30 years of employment with PC&P of Salem Virginia.

The family will have a Visitation and Viewing on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 6:00 -8:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 2:00pm at Faith Central Fellowship, 677 Dalewood Drive, Salem, VA 24153 with Rev. Michael Barnett officiating.
