Dawn Hall

Dawn Hall, 40, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at her home. She was born July 6, 1982 in Roanoke, Virginia, to Danny Steve Hall and Sandra Lynn Ramsey Hall. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Doug Hall and Jerry Ramsey. Dawn was a graduate of Bassett High School. She was such a girly girl, loved fashion, summer, swimming and being by the lake. She loved spending time with family, cooking out and was a big foodie. She enjoyed going to the Salem Fair and fireworks were her favorite. Her grandson was dear to her heart and they had a very special bond. In addition to her parents, Dawn is survived by her daughters, Jasmine Fain (Austin) and Brooke Penn; boyfriend, Alex Kissee; grandson, A. J. Fain; grandmothers, Dorothy Hall and Sharon Ramsey; aunts, Liz Purcell (Cory) and Rhonda Rakes; and cousins, Torri Rakes, Joshua Rakes and Jordan Cox. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be private.
