Debbie Moore

Debbie Ann Moore, 56, of Axton, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024. She was born August 29, 1967, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Charlie William Moore and Iris Evelyn Horsley Moore.

Debbie Ann loved her family and friends more than life itself. She had a heart of gold, always helping others. She had a very adventurous spirit and loved being outdoors, one of her favorite activities with her daughter was spending time near the lake or beach, keeping her golden tan. She loved entertaining people with her big personality and was always laughing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Moore, and her brother, Dennis Moore.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen “Gracie” Roberts; sisters, Jean Gilbert, Lisa Taylor (Stuart), and Donna Gravely (JW); brothers, Hooker Moore (Donna), Dale Moore (Sue), and Danny Moore (Susie); sister-in-law, Lena Moore; along with several nieces and nephews.

Thank you to Mountain Valley Hospice for the care they took of Debbie Ann. Taylor, Amy, Chantea, and all the others. Also, a special thank you to the Chaplain, Joann, for leading her to the Lord.

The Memorial Service will be on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 2:00 PM at First Assembly of God o Chatham Heights Road, with Pastor Rob Haley officiating.
