Deborah “Debbie” Ball

Deborah “Debbie” Ball, 70, Collinsville passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at her home. She was born on August 6, 1952 in Martinsville to the late Russell Minter and the late Lillie Roberts Minter.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by daughter, Kristin Ball and sister, Diane Young. 

Debbie was a member of Stone Memorial Christian Church.  She had worked for Henry County Public Schools as a secretary, played soft ball for the church, coached soft ball, active with Marching Band Fieldale-Collinsville High School and was a Pom Pom Girl in High School.

Debbie is survived by husband, Alex Wes Ball; daughter, Lindsay Dickerson (Gary); grandchildren, Collin and Alex Dickerson, Gavin, Ayden, and Madison Richards; sister, Theresa Thompson (Steve) and niece Erika Thompson.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Bassett Funeral Service chapel where a funeral will be conducted at 1:00 pm with Pastor Tim Wood officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Henry Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends at the home of Lindsay Dickerson (Gary).
