Debra Lee Jones White

Debra (Debbie) Jones White went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 10th, 2026. Debbie was born to Connie Lee Jones and Ronald "Pop" Jones on October 6th, 1957. She worked as an LPN for several years, but more importantly, Debbie devoted her life to serving the Lord and her church. Her faith was at the heart of all she did. She faithfully taught Sunday school, shared her creativity through crafts, and dedicated her time to Vacation Bible School. She lovingly developed and organized Easter and Christmas programs, helping create special memories for generations of church families. Debbie also shared her beautiful love of music by singing and playing guitar at church. Through her faith, talents, and countless acts of service, she touched the lives of many and left a lasting legacy of love, faith, and devotion. Debbie was a devoted mother and grandmother who never missed a school event, classroom party, or special occasion. She was always there to cheer on her children and grandchildren and, more often than not, she showed up with her famous Jello Jigglers in hand. Before long, she earned the unforgettable title of the "Jello Jiggler Lady"-a name that became synonymous with Debbie and the sweet memories she created for so many children. If there was a classroom party, you could pretty much count on Debbie, her smile, and a tray of Jello Jigglers making an appearance! Debbie is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Ray White; son-in-law Eddie Meadows; sister, Sara Elizabeth Jones; mother, Connie Lee Jones Barbaree; father, Ronald "Pop" Jones; maternal grandparents, Elizabeth Burger Lee and Cyril "Cyke" Lee; paternal grandparents, Faye Reynolds Jones and George Jones. Debbie is survived by her children, Angie Brizendine, Alli Meadows, Forrest (Christina) White; grandchildren, Page (Chris) May, Savannah (Andrew) Paitsel-McKinney, Garrett Paitsel, Malachi Paitsel, Victor Meadows, Lilly Meadows, Alex White, Kora White, Kirk White, and August White; great-grandchildren, Parker May and Benjamin "Benji" May; brother, Boop (Kathy) Jones; sister, Theressa (David) Dodson; special nephew, Matt (Jess) Brizendine. The family will gather with friends and loved ones for a visitation on Friday, August 14'th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Mountain View Christian Church in New Castle, Va. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow in Lee Family Cemetery, in New Castle.
