Delores Jean Wilkins Odell

Delores Jean Wilkins Odell, 90, of Collinsville, Va. passed away, Tuesday, October 13, 2026. She was born in Durham, N.C., July 30, 1936, to Thomas Ivey and Alma Louise Wilkins Ivey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, James Roosevelt Odell; son, Junior Ray Odell; grandson, Jay Clay Willard, and brother, Tommy Ivey.

Delores is survived by her daughters, Jane Odell Willard and Jeannette Odell Fulp (Scottie); grandchildren, Shon L. Martin, Jennifer F. Martin and James Kevin Odell (Lakin); great grandchildren, Olivia Rae Martin, James Anakin Odell, Ava Ann Rogue Odell, Joseph Michael Squire Odell, Tobin Van Willard, Tess Monroe Willard, Logan Martin and Miranda Martin, Lori Odell Bowman; special granddaughter, Cheryl Lynn Odell Nance (John).

Delores loved her family and enjoyed spending time and eating together with them. She also loved traveling to the Great Smokey Mountains, the Atlantic Beach and Graceland. She liked to shop and watch FOX News. She also loved President Donald J. Trump.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Old Well Christian Church Cemetery and will be officiated by Pastor Raymond Moorefield and Walter Sheppard.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Old Well Church Cemetery Fund, 110 Old Well Road, Spencer, Va. 24165 or to the Bible Baptist Church Building Fund, 316 Spring Drive, Collinsville, VA 24078.
