Denise Taggart

Denise Kaye Johnson Taggart, age 66, of 313 3rd Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Monday, February 5, 2024 at LewisGale Hospital-Salem.

She was born on February 26, 1957 in Indiana to the late Archie Lee Johnson and Betty Louise Bloyd Johnson.

She was a volunteer at the Alleghany Highlands Arts and Crafts Center, and attended First Christian Church of Clifton Forge.

She is survived by a daughter, Andrea Lynn Bennett of Norfolk, Virginia; a son, Jonathan Taggart of Whitefish, Montana; two sisters, Jeanne Karnes and Sandra Gearhart; two brothers, Dean Johnson and Michael Johnson; eight grandchildren, Kyron, Avery, Ramina, Pendroy, Maxwell, Grace, Henry, and Amira; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.
