Diana Lynn Camden
Diana Lynn Camden, 77, of Raphine, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at her residence. She was born on January 18, 1947, in Pulaski, Virginia, to the late Herman F. Brown and Virginia Roseberry Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, her first husband, William Bowden; one daughter, Debra Ziglar; two brothers, Herman Brown Jr. and Roger Brown; and one sister, Brenda Roemer.
Diana was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church in Henry, Virginia, before becoming a member of West View Holiness Church in Buena Vista, Virginia. At West View, she enthusiastically participated in different ministries. She was a secretary at Fort Trail Baptist Church. She dedicated numerous years to Tultex. Following that, she pursued a career in real estate, establishing and managing her own company, Virginia First Choice Realty, LLC. Traveling with her husband was a cherished pastime. Diana possessed exceptional skills in quilt making, sewing, and creating bead projects, which brought her much joy.
Diana is survived by the love of her life, Reverend C. Donnie Camden; two daughters, Vicki Gilley (J.W.) and Cynthia Dickerson (Rodney); one stepson, Jason Camden (Tosha); five grandchildren, Matthew Bailey, Bryan Massey, Stephanie Gusler, Melia Dickerson, and Cole Dickerson; two step grandchildren, Carly Camden and Jayse Camden; three great grandchildren; one sister, MaryAnn Ramsey; one sister-in-law, Donna Brown; A SPECIAL SISTER, Sylvia Bowden (Leon); and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Tony Beach officiating.
