Donald Lee Crouch

Donald Lee Crouch, Sr., 90, of Martinsville, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024. He was born in Martinsville, September 20, 1933 to Mayfield Harley Crouch and Lillian Bell Crouch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara M. Crouch, his second wife, Elizabeth Hankins Crouch, daughter, Beth C. Prohaska, brother, Milton Crouch, and sisters, Thelma Slayden and Evelyn Lovell.

He is survived by his brother, Johnny Crouch, children, Debbie C. Hundley (Mike), Donald L. Crouch, Jr. (June), Wesley Robert Crouch, and Kyle Mayfield Crouch (Hazel), step-children, Doug Hankins (Sandra) Doris Janney (Curtis), Shirley Redman, Bruce Hankins (Kelly) and Carol Easton. He was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Donald graduated from Western Kentucky University and was an associate professor at Patrick and Henry Community College until his retirement. He thoroughly enjoyed teaching Electronics and Information Technology. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing his keyboard for his children and grandchildren.

The family greatly appreciates the special care given by Bruce, Misty, and Tristra as well as their special love for dad.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Roselawn Burial Park in Martinsville. The service will be conducted by Rev. Mike Hundley and Shirley Redman.
